The chief measures of this plan concern improving the efficiency and quality of injury and disease prevention; monitoring and supervision of application of the regulations; consolidation of the culture of occupational risk prevention; establishment and refinement of the information and search system in the area of occupational risk prevention; strengthening of the state institutions, and improved coordination between the competent government departments. In addition, preparatory work will be carried out for the coming reforms: a debate on the quality and efficiency of occupational risk prevention, a study on the establishment of a bonus system for enterprises whose accident rate is lower than the sector average, analysis of the problems arising from competition between the various legal authorities, and a study of the difficulties involved in training in the area of occupational risk prevention.
