Denmark: Rise in psychosocial demands at work
04/06/2007
The National Research Centre for the Working Environment publishes the fourth Danish Work Environment Cohort Study covering the period 2000-2005. The 2005 results show an increase in psychosocial demands in the workplace, such as a high pace of work, a demanding workload and emotional demands. Conversely, the study also reveals increased latitude in decision making, better future prospects in the job and more support for workers from superiors.
