Comparative study on health conditions of the European employees depending on the type of work organisation
22/01/2007
In November 2006, the French Centre for Employment (Centre pour l'étude de l'emploi) published a study focused on the variability of working and health conditions at the workplace depending on the various types of work organization such as 'taylorism' and 'lean production'. The data presented in the study were taken from the results of the Third European Survey on Working Conditions carried out in 2000. The study indicated that working and health conditions are better in 'learning organisations' rather than in organisations based on 'lean production' or 'taylorism'.
