The liberal Danish government has this summer publicised a proposal for a new organisation of the health and safety activities in Denmark. The international seen rather advanced Danish occupational health service system (OHS), developed through 25 years as a multidisciplinary preventive advisory sys-tem with obligations for the companies and strong workers participation, will be changed to a liberal, market-based advisory-system. The preventive function of the OHS-system will be very difficult to keep continuating.
