The International Ergonomics Association has formed a Committee on Gender and Work
Last July, the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) created a technical committee called “Gender and Work”. Focused on gender issues at work, it will be headed by Karen Messing, director of the Centre for the Study of biological interactions in Human Health at the University of Montreal.
The committee hopes to make progress in understanding gender issues in the work context in relation to the science and practice of ergonomics.
