A book aimed at promoting trade union's action in the field of health and safety at work has just been published by the University of California.
Titled Tools of the Trade: A Health and Safety Handbook for Action, this 180-page publication is packed with examples of succesful workplace health and safety camapigns, and strategies for engaging workers in fighting for their own protection.
It goes into detail on how to collect information, use legal rights, and work with the community.
