Netherlands: Companies where harassment is prevalent are confronted with a high level of absenteeism
A Dutch survey carried out by an occupational doctor among 137 of her colleagues has shown that organisations where harassment is widespread are more likely to face a high level of absenteeism.
In companies where harassment is frequent absenteeism due to medical reason has reached 16.9 days per year, against 11.6 days according to the national average.
