France: Working time and precariousness are on the increase
Precarious work contracts are increasing considerably in France, according to the preliminary results of a survey carried out by the INSEE, the National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies.
Temporary work, apprentice contracts and temporary work contracts represent 13,6% of the total labour force versus 13,2% in 2003.
Workers are increasingly employed as temporary workers. 17,2% of French workers are concerned by this form of employment.
