Sixteen Italian organizations - Trade unions, environmental NGO and consumers organizations - have just called the Italian government to strengthen and adopt in a short time REACH, the reform of the European legislation on trade in chemical substances.
These organisations ask for the implementation of:
- the substitution principle for the most harmful substances;
- the "no data -no market" principle;
- the consumers and workers right to be informed about chemical hazards and risks they are exposed to.
