Summaries of the 2003 auto contracts are provided to all UAW (United Automobile Workers) members at each company prior to voting on the ratification of the agreements. The 2003 settlements add to a system in place of local union health and safety representatives, local and national labor management health and safety committees, jointly administered training and research funds, periodic joint audits of worksites, and a complaint and grievance procedure.
