Quebec: a trade union report on gender and health and safety
The Confédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN) has produced an analysis of the impact of gender on workplace health and safety. The initiative is the result of a collaboration with research organisation CINBIOSE and is part of the Invisible qui fait mal partnership between CINBIOSE and the unions.

Guide de sensibilisation aux impacts sur la santé au travail de rapports hommes-femmes difficiles', discusses how pressure to appear "macho" can cause men to over-exert themselves, while women in non-traditional jobs can be made to feel bad if they ask for adaptations to equipment and women in mixed jobs can be made to feel that they must work twice as hard as men if they are to "do their part."
Three case studies deal with cleaning, landscaping, hospital work.
