A new directive concerning certain aspects of the organisation of working time
The Council of the European Union has adopted a new directive (Directive 2003/88/EC). It a codification of the Council Directive 93/104/EC. The new Directive does not introduce any new provisions nor are any of the deadlines contained in the original Directive (93/104/EC) or the amendments contained in Directive 2000/34/EC changed. The changes relate to the organisation of the various Articles and their codification. These changes can be seen in the Correlation Table which is contained as an Annex to the new Directive.
