For its participation to the European week, the Swedish work environment authority (Arbetsmiljöverket - AV) has organised a campaign "Prevent before building".
After a targeted information to organisations that could be inspected, AV has realised 1300 inspections of companies having ordered a construction and of  their project-leaders or planners in order to control if they had considered issues related to working environment before building's start. The idea was to see if not only the core business was considered but also "hidden activities of workers" such as garbage collection, cleaning, HVAC, maintenance and transportation, …
