14/07/2008
The Dublin-based European Foundation for the Improvement of Working and Living Conditions has just published the fifth edition of its annual review on working conditions in the European Union over the 2007-2008 period.
In its chapter on legislative developments, the report points out the steps that were taken to push EU Health and Safety legislation forward. It also sums up the viewpoints of the European social partners on key health and safety issues such as the revision of the Carcinogens and Working Time Directives and the proposal for an overall Directive on Musculoskeletal disorders.
